The woman linked to an alleged relationship with John Terry was yesterday discussing her next move with Britain's best-known publicist as the England football captain's Chelsea team prepared for a match.
Max Clifford confirmed he has taken on French underwear model Vanessa Perroncel as a client after she phoned him.
Clifford, who is on holiday in Spain, said Perroncel is currently monitoring reports of the allegations and is considering what to do next.
"I think she really wants to read the papers, see what is said and decide from there," he said.
Clifford said he plans to meet Perroncel - ex-girlfriend of Terry's former team-mate Wayne Bridge - after he flies back to Britain today.
The allegations about Terry's private life came to light after a gagging order was lifted by Mr Justice Tugendhat at London's High Court on Friday.
News Group Newspapers, publisher of the News of the World, wanted to print a story about the footballer last Sunday.
An injunction, granted at a private hearing on 22 January, had covered the alleged relationship between LNS – as married father-of-two Terry (29) was referred to in court – and another woman, details about it, including certain specific consequences, information leading to their identification and any photographs.
Terry – voted Dad of the Year last year in a Daddies Sauce survey – was due to play for Chelsea in their Premier League away clash with Burnley last night.
In his anonymised judgment, which does not name the woman, Tugendhat said Terry accepted the truth of certain information covered by the order. "I do not know whether or not LNS considers that those matters were acceptable for a person in LNS's position in life."
He said the woman was also a "famous person" but not in the world of sport and not as famous as LNS, who had a number of high-profile sponsorship deals including three very well-known brand names.
He said LNS wanted the court to consider the privacy rights of the woman and other interested individuals and had said that he had not told one of the interested persons about the relationship.
