THERE is a boost for Fianna Fáil in a new opinion poll today that shows the main government party almost halving the gap that had existed between it and Fine Gael.


Despite falling two points, Fine Gael is still the most popular party at 34% in the Sunday Business Post/Red C poll. But Fianna Fáil is up four points to 27%. The poll shows Labour unchanged at 17%, while Sinn Féin is at 8% (-2), the Greens are at 5% and independents are at 9%.
