Hairy man vows to shave... millimetres off his nose
One of the world's hairiest men is about to undergo plastic surgery, not to remove any of his furriness, but because he thinks his nose is too big. Yu Zhenghuan's insecurity was prompted by failing to secure a leading role in the Chinese TV drama The Monkey King. "I could only get a role as a monkey," Zhenghuan told reporters, adding he was prepared to go under the knife and change his appearance – but not his hair – to progress his career. "I want to get the leading role as the Monkey King," he said.
No more monkey business from rampaging lemurs
Two lemurs have been returned to an Austrian zoo after they escaped and engaged in a week-long vandalism binge, attacking clothes lines and crashing a hotel bar. The lemurs, from Salzburg's Hellbrunn zoo, escaped when their keeper opened a cage door.
