PSNI officers are investigating an assault on a man in north Belfast on Friday night.


The man, who is in his late 30s, was attacked by a number of people at Deerpark Road in north Belfast at around 10.45pm.


At least one of the attackers was armed with a bat and the man suffered leg and head injuries.
