Thousands of spectators descended on north county Dublin yesterday for the annual Skerries 100 motorcycle road races.


Gardaí put in place a number of road closures for the event which typically attracts crowds of 65,000.


The Leinster 100 was first run in Skerries on a 13-mile circuit linking the villages of Skerries, Lusk and Rush.
