GARDAÍ are waiting to interview a man in his 20s who was stabbed in the Tyrellstown area of west Dublin on Thursday evening. The attack happened at around 6pm.


The man was stabbed in the upper chest and taken to James Connolly Memorial Hospital. Sources say the stabbing was a "localised incident". The victim is from the area and his stabbing is possibly linked to a local dispute. His condition is not life threatening.
