A YOUNG girl remained in a critical condition in hospital yesterday after being hit by a car.
The five-year-old had been walking along Downpatrick Road in Ardglass in Co Down when she was hit by a car at around 4.30pm on Friday.
Yesterday the PSNI was appealing for witnesses to come forward.
