THE weekly protest outside Dublin's Mater hospital began again yesterday. Labour TD Joe Costello said he would continue his protest because conditions have not improved. He said 27 patients were on trolleys last week.

What a silly waste of time this "protest" is. How is Joe parading outside the Mater on a Saturday going to convince the government to spend more on hospital beds. This is nothing but self-publicity.
