THE Labour Party organised a protest outside Beaumont Hospital yesterday over the issue of bed closures.


Some 52 beds in total are due to close at the hospital in north Dublin, a move that has sparked further anger over the state of Ireland's health service.


Senator Brendan Ryan and Councillor Aodhán Ó Riordán planned the lunchtime protest outside the main gates of the hospital.
