THE total cost for storing the government's ill-fated e-voting machines came to more than €180,000 last year, it has emerged.


More than 60% of the machines are now in storage at a facility at Gormanstown Army Camp at only a small cost to the taxpayer. However, several thousand other voting machines remain scattered around the country.
