Share Your Experiences as a Host City During the World Cup

What’s it like to be in a World Cup host city? We’d love to hear your stories

The recent match between Mexico and South Africa marked the opening of the largest World Cup ever, featuring 48 teams competing in 104 matches over a span of 39 days across 16 host cities. If you reside in one of these locations, we invite you to share your experiences. How has it been for you so far?

This tournament stands out for its diversity, bringing unique atmospheres to each venue. We are eager to learn about the sentiment in your home city during the competition as part of our My World Cup series.

Is there a palpable excitement in the air? How are local businesses coping with the surge of fans from around the globe? Do you sense a mood of enthusiasm, fatigue, indifference, or worry that geopolitical issues might overshadow the sporting events? Whether you are a passionate supporter, a casual viewer, a business proprietor, or someone looking to stay away from it all, we want to hear about the vibe in your city as the matches unfold.

Your contributions would be greatly appreciated, and we would like to know if you would be open to sending us short videos throughout the World Cup.

The complete list of host cities includes: Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey; Toronto and Vancouver; as well as Seattle, San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Atlanta, Miami, Boston, Philadelphia, and New York/New Jersey.

We encourage you to provide as much detail as possible.
