THE Dáil is to sit for three extra days in the week following the June bank holiday weekend to help bring through legislation and allow for special debates on important subjects, Government chief whip John Curran has signalled.

There were no sitting days scheduled for the week beginning Monday 7 June but Curran says the intention now is that the Dáil will sit from Tuesday to Thursday of that week.
