Thank you to your columnist David Kenny for giving Samaritans a name check in his article in the Sunday Tribune last Sunday. We are always grateful when we get our name out there to let people know that they are not alone.

His account of what happened to his friend is very sad. Like he says, we find that people often do not want to die, they just want an end to their current situation or they want to stop feeling the way they do.

At Samaritans, we give people an opportunity to explore these feelings and to see what options are out there.
