In a story published on 16 May you reported that Irish SOCA "stormed out" of a meeting with Taoiseach Brian Cowen and other ministers at Government Buildings on 15 April.
While serious disagreements emerged between us and government over the disbursement of additional financial contributions from the CORI religious orders, we did not leave until the meeting was completed.
We appreciate that this erroneous account was initially carried by another newspaper and thank you for the opportunity to put the record straight.
