Major changes to Dublin Bus services, which were due to take effect today, have been postponed for a week. This follows a vote by union members to accept Labour Court proposals on cost-cutting measures. These will reduce the fleet by 120 vehicles, and will affect more than 60 routes. In a ballot last week, some 2,000 member of the National Bus and Rail Union voted 57% in favour of the proposals.
Dublin Bus said the service changes will now commence next Sunday, 26 April.
