HEAD shop owners protested yesterday at what they claim is mistreatment by government. The Alternative Traders of Ireland demonstrated in Cork and Dublin. Justice minister Dermot Ahern intends to criminalise substances sold in head shops.

a lot of these articles seems to point me to a direction that it is what they have been smoking that is the issue here, but where other media clearly pointed out the substances named nrg-1, Mephedrone, previously banned BZP.Those similar substances provide the same effects like cocain or other pills, where as almost all the smoking products are providing the user a complete opposite effect to those substances mentioned which was really what is causing all those problems.
And to get to the bottom of it, if the government will only legalise the MEDICINE Marijuana, there will be no need for any of those smoking products to be sold from headshop, as many of you might know that, majority of their customers are buying smoking products, in comparison to other products such as pills and cocain like powder, shouldnt you have more cases than that? if one shop can make thousands in one day selling smoking products, and it is so sure that it is the smoking products that causes the problem, I think there will be atleast 100 times more cases in one day.
To make my point, it is the pills and the cocain like powder that is causing the problem, they are the products that contains NRG-1, Mephedrone and other similar substances, and to get the smoking products off the shelves, LEGALISE MARIJUANA, IT IS A MEDICINE THAT CAN POSSIBLY BE THE ONLY THING THAT CAN HELP CURE CANCER AND AIDS PLUS MANY OTHER ILLNESS. you can keep banning them but it will never end, I have read that NRG-2 has already been dispatched to distributors which is not yet banned anywhere.
