I note that you ran an article on the football 'riot' in Oriel Park in your 9 May edition. Would I be correct in stating that you didn't even report the score in that game let alone have someone at it? Yet I seem to have missed reports on the actual rioting in Sheffield, Luton and Grimsby in your copious coverage of English football.

Geoff, grow up. I wasn't at the game, never mind involved in the scuffles that were reported as rioting. The point I am makins is that Tribune give pages to English football yet ignore the negatives, give no coverage to Irish football but find space for a bad news story. Thats an editorial bias.
Go onto youtube and compare the events in Oriel Park to the events at Luton and tell me which is more newsworthy.
How is Hugh a "yob" by asking a relevant question? The real questions should be why the Tribune and some sections of the Irish media are so virulent anti League of Ireland. Why their staff like Doyle and Howard consistently run the league down despite it providing employment and a good level of football as evidenced by recent European results. Compared to england there is absolutely no violence in our league. There was no "riot" in Oriel Park. Only an idiot barstooler would make comments like that Geoff.

Hi Hugh. Why do you feel the need to comment like this? The score is irrelevant as this is a news piece of rioting. It is the likes of you. Typical football YOB who feels hard done by and life owes you something. Well grow up and stop the rioting. Kids are dying around the world and your kind feels the need to riot and then cry about it when reported?
