The website, lowcostholidays.ie, covers the US, Far East, Australia, Thailand and Europe. It is marketed as a one-stop, online travel solution for Irish holidaymakers who want to save time and money.


The technology offers flexible holiday options and enables users to search for their specific needs while travelling.


Politics - Meath TD Mary Wallace to retire


FORMER junior minister Mary Wallace yesterday announced she will not be contesting the next general election.


Wallace, who represents Meath East and who has been a TD since 1989, becomes the 12th Fianna Fáil deputy to announce their retirement from public life, with still more expected to follow in the coming weeks.


Home Affairs - Two arrested over murder of teenager


TWO people were arrested yesterday in relation to the killing of 18-year-old Niall Dorr in Co Louth in October.


A woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s were arrested yesterday morning in Dundalk.


They were both detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act at Dundalk Garda Station. The pair are the seventh and eight people to be detained in connection with the teenager's killing.
